At Human Kanvas we pride ourselves in producing quality tattoos. All artists employed by Human Kanvas are to the highest standards in the tattoo industry. All artists and guest artists are hired based on their artist ability and their tattooing techniques. Substandared work is not tollerated and therefore the touch-up policy is as Follows:

Hands, wrists, Feet & lower ankles are Not Guarenteed!! These areas are very hard to heal! the pigment tends to 'fall out' during healing because of the skin type.. We EXPECT this to happen and give you the customer fair warning so you know what to expect when you ask us to put your tattoo there!!

If you can see imperfections from at least 5 feet away the touch-ups are free!! All tattoos are guarenteed by the tattoo artist who did them. If you are not sure if a tattoo requires a touch up come in and show us.. We are proud of the work we do and if we feel it needs touch ups to improve the tattoo we will gladly do it!

MINOR TOUCH UPS!!!
There is a $30 charge for tattoos that require minor touch-ups!
- A minor touch up is something that cannot been seen from 5 feet away!
You would have to inspect the tattoo up close for minor imperfections in the pigment!

Your new tattoo is going to 'soften' over time. Once the Pigment has been exposed to one or two seasons of summer or UV rays those minor imperfections will soften and blend together anyway. You will not notice them!

We want nothing less then for you to LOVE your tattoo.. afterall you are the one who has to live with it.. We do not mind doing minor touch-ups just ask that you pay a $30 service charge. This helps cover items that are used for every tattoo no matter the size!! items such as Gloves, bags, barrier covers, sterilization, needles, tubes, ink, inkcaps, paper towels ect...
Tattoo artists and piercers all work on commission, much like a hairdresser.. They DO NOT get paid to do touchups.. Artist's provide all of their own supplies and have families and Pets too!

Every time a tattoo artist does a tattoo its differnt! every customers skin type is different and its takes skill and experience to know how to properly apply a tattoo.. Every Artist at Human Kanvas is professional and takes pride in their work.

WHY DO I HAVE TO FILL OUT THAT ANNOYING FORM??
Every SINGLE time we perform any personal service you MUST fill out a form. This is for your safety!! Yes that's right, we care about you so fill it out completely! If something were to happen and we had to call you this is where we are going to look.. not only that but it is required by the Alberta Health Services that these forms are kept on file for two years! Again for your safety in case they need to contact you!

We do not sell your information to telemarketers, charities, or Telus!! But we do send out customer appreciation cards.. If this is something you absolutely cannot live with tell us and we will not mail you one!
